Allison started with LTRF as a volunteer in 2001 and joined the teaching staff in 2004, achieving her PATH Int’l. Instructor certification that same year.  She has a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College.  Her first career was in pharmaceutical and medical device scientific and regulatory consulting.  In 2014, she retired from that field to focus on equine facilitated activities full time.

Allison has a special interest in equine facilitated learning and has studied natural horsemanship techniques, round pen training, and energy work, including Level II Reiki.  She is a certified practitioner of the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method®.  Learn more about Allison and her practice at North Light Coaching.

Allison has owned, ridden, and cared for horses since childhood, formerly foxhunting and spending contless hours on horseback along the roads and trails of Chester County, PA.

Allison lives in Fairfax County, VA with her family.  When not at the barn, she enjoys yoga, gardening, cooking, reading, and walking in the fields with her best canine friend.
