35th Anniversary & Road Apply Rally 
The Loudoun Therapeutic Riding Foundation (LTRF) is proud to be celebrating 35 years of service in the community and held a Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 24th at the Morven Park Equestrian Center in Leesburg as part of their celebration. Despite the soggy weather, families came out to enjoy therapeutic riding and carriage demonstrations, moonbounce, pumpkin painting, face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides and fabulous goodies prepared by some very talented bakers! Included in the celebration was the annual “Road Apple Rally” contest. Connie Owens from Sterling, VA won $1,000 when “Awesome Art” (an LTRF therapy horse) “baked a pie” of road apples on her purchased plot of land. The contest raised over $4,000 for the therapeutic riding program.
