Bojangles  “Bo”

21 y, 16h, black, Percheron/QH, gelding

Previously, Bo spent his time doing a lot of fun and amazing things like Civil War reenactments, competitive trail riding, and volunteer mounted patrol in the Manassas Battlefields. Since Bo was a part of the reenactments, he is literally “bomb proof”, a great quality to have as a therapy horse.  Also, his previous owner is a retired Army Colonel and he really wanted Bo to help those that served our country.  Standing 16 hands tall, and part draft horse, he is the perfect size for our veteran riders.  Using his huge heart and strong back, Bo’s is making a huge impact on our riders’ lives. — donated by Frank Boberek
