DESCRIPTION:On October 1st\, the Ride-a-thon Fundraiser Kicks off. \nRide-a-thon is LTR’s annual fundraiser when participants and volunteers reach out to our family\, friends and colleagues to support this organization that means so much to them.  Your gift of $35 will feed a therapy horse for a week.  $125 will shoe a therapy horse one time.  $1\,250 will buy a therapy horse shoes for a year because a horse needs new shoes about every 5 to 6 weeks. \nOur new farm makes it possible for LTR to help people with disabilities for 99 more days every year.  This means we need to feed\, shoe and care for more horses\, and pay for additional certified riding instructors to provide lessons to the new students. \nOur goal this year is to raise $30\,000 to change lives through real horsepower.  The Ride-a-thon Fundraiser ends on Saturday\, October 30th when we will celebrate our success with our annual costumed ride. \nHelp us FUNdraise for a chance to win great prizes! \n*Free Ride-a-thon T-shirts to everyone who raises a minimum of $100. \n*Weekly prizes to the individual who receives the most donations each week. \n*One free 12-week session to the rider who raises the most over $5\,000. \n*50% off one 12-week session to the rider who has the most donors. \nClick here to create your personal fundraising page or donate!

DESCRIPTION:Gather Your Pod for a Party.   Or keep it small.  The Running of the 146th Preakness Stakes is Saturday\, May 15th and that means it’s time to party for Loudoun Therapeutic Riding.  We will gather on Facebook Live starting at 6:00 p.m. where you’ll join us for a virtual Pony Paddock Tour.  Everyone who registers will be entered into a drawing to win a Trail Ride for 2 and catered lunch.  If you are among the first 35 to register\, you’ll receive a personally delivered Black-Eyed Susan Mixology Kit complete with your own LTR picnic-friendly wine glass.\n\nWe’ll break from Facebook for the Race\, then you can join us back again to put your paddle up for the ponies. We count on the Annual Preakness Party Pony Paddle Up to raise the dollars needed to care for our herd.  This year\, if you Paddle Up at a Platinum\, Gold\, or Silver Level\, your name will be posted on the stall of your chosen Horse.\n\nYou have to register to bid on the amazing array of auction items donated by local businesses and to Paddle Up for the Ponies.\n\nThe Auction goes live on May 3rd and ends at Midnight on May 15th.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Have the most fun you’ve had all year–virtually–when you join us in watching the horses run at Pimlico.  Now the 3rd jewel in the Triple Crown\, you’ll have the opportunity to Raise Your Paddle to Support our herd\, win prizes\, and bid on spectacular auction items to raise funds to fulfill Loudoun Therapeutic Riding’s mission. For almost 5 decades\, LTR has provided real horsepower to individuals in our community facing cognitive\, emotional and physical challenges. While we are unable to physically gather together to celebrate these individuals and the wonderful herd of horses that serve them\, your participation in our virtual party will make a positive difference in their lives and keep LTR cantering on!\n\nThis Preakness Party is un-ticketed this year\, and because it is virtual\, you can participate from anywhere!
