LTR is excited to announce the return of our unmounted Horse Power Social Hours series. Each Social Hour (60 minutes) combines hands-on farm and horse activities with a wellness theme that taps into the benefits of spending time with horses. Fresh air, happy horses, and certified professional staff will support you (parent, caregiver, current volunteer) or your child in meeting new people, trying new things, and spending time with our herd.

Each student must be able to safely participate in individual and group settings without one to one assistance. Class size is limited to 4 and offered Tuesday OR Wednesday afternoon from 6-7:00 pm.

This program is open to current students, their parents, friends, LTR volunteers or members of the community at large.

Students new to Loudoun Therapeutic Riding must schedule a brief meet and greet prior to the start of the series. The group meets weekly between March 4 and June 15, 2024.

Sign up below by March 1, 2024 to register. The tentative first week of lessons begins the week of March 4, 2024

“Ms. Elena is AWESOME! She keeps [the students] engaged and involved! I’m so glad that you guys decided to offer this program! It’s great that [my daughter] gets to groom different horses, learn about them and understand how horses see, hear, feel and be able to connect with them!”

Fees: $75/60-minute session
