2019 Preakness Party to be Held at Historic Murray Hill

175 event guests and community leaders will watch the Running of the 144th Preakness Stakes on May 18, 2019 at one of  Northern Virginia’s most spectacular venues—The Barn at Historic Murray Hill—generously donated for the evening by John and Peggy Rust. Attendees will bid on Silent and Live Auction items, sip signature Black-Eyed Susan cocktails, show off their Race Day Chapeaus, and savor a dinner catered by Magnolias at the Mill. Murray Hill is a fifty-seven-acre estate known for one of the most stunning views in all of Loudoun County. Murray Hill was built by the owner’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stirling Murray Rust, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks and the Virginia Landmark Register.
