Even if you don’t have an official diagnosis, even if you don’t have something that you acknowledge troubles you every single day, you can allow yourself to be vulnerable in front of the horses, one, because they won’t judge you. And two, because they can also read you. Horses are our mirrors. They can read you in a way that other people can’t see. You can hide from people. You can hide even from yourself sometimes. But you cannot hide from the beautiful mind of a horse.
