The 2019 LTR Fun Show was a huge success! How do we know? The smiles on the faces of all of our participants. The day kicked off with a presentation of the flag by two of our veterans who are active in our the PATH Intl. Equine Services for Heroes program. Executive Director Susan Koehler welcomed the crowd as our first round of riders mounted their favorite LTR horses adorned with colorful leis and hibiscus flowers.
Participants, whether riding independently or with the support of side-walkers, guided their horses through molten lava, shark infested waters, around an enormous tiki statue and finally surfed the waves in open waters. Meanwhile, breakfast sandwiches were served by two long-time LTR volunteers along with other goodies. A tent sale of LTR logo wear was set up alongside a Ride-a-Thon sign up booth to prepare for our second largest fundraiser of the year!
More excited riders went through the fun obstacle course throughout the day as a potluck and hot dog lunch was prepared, and families gathered under the trees to socialize and enjoy the day. Each rider was awarded a blue ribbon medal and a gift card to Dover Saddlery for all their hard work.

The Fun Show is a celebration of our participants and a time to gather as a community to support LTR programs and experience the power of horses.
